Meg Pemberton, MHA, BSN, RN, CCM

Meg brings 35 years of nursing, healthcare administration, and leadership experience to ElderCare Connections. She began her nursing career at Mary Washington Healthcare in 1984. During her tenure Meg served as a Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Assistant Director of Emergency Services, and Director of Capacity Management. As Meg’s parents began to struggle with their aging journey, she moved them closer to her so she could advocate for them and eventually became their family caregiver.
Meg’s passion for seniors and their aging journey led her to the senior care industry in 2015. As director of client care and general manager for a local non –medical in home care agency she was able to share her passion by assisting seniors and their families as they faced a similar journey. Her passion coupled with her knowledge and skills as a nurse led her to certification as a geriatric care manager. Her mission as a geriatric care manager is to help seniors and their families navigate the journey of aging.
Meg is a member of the Aging Life Care Association, American Society on Aging, and Partners in Aging. She is currently a member of the Fredericksburg Leadership Council Alzheimer’s Association.
